Fred & Henny

“Love knows no bounds”

Fred and Henny met in a hospital in the Netherlands in the 1940’s, Fred as a patient, Henny as his nurse! They have been married since 1949 and are now in their 80’s. Both Henny and Fred now live in Rembrandt Court. They enjoy living and being together.

Henny is living with Dementia however spending time daily with Fred makes them both happy. “My wife is very special to me and knowing she is getting the best care and is close to me makes me very happy” says Fred. Fred moved into Rembrandt Court to be closer to his wife.

Fred and Henny sit holding hands and exchanging glances. "I enjoy it when the staff save a seat next to her for me at the activities".
