Residential Permanent Care
The moment you walk into our home you will feel at home. Rembrandt Court Residents are part of the “Rembrandt Family” and as the name suggests, treated like family. The Rembrandt Family is simply a community of people living their life the fullest whilst being cared for by a team of truly dedicated professionals.
Rembrandt Court is conveniently located (nestled away) off Morphett Road in Oaklands Park in Adelaide’s inner southern suburbs. Close to Westfield Marion Shopping Centre and the “Oaklands” Wetland with easy access from the City, good access to Public Transport and only a short drive to some of Adelaide’s best beaches.
Our home is exactly that – a home! Not a hotel or lodge, our home has décor and furniture designed specifically to be reminiscent of what our resident’s home would have looked like in the community. Our halls are filled with trinkets, photos and memorabilia from days gone by.
Our home is proudly small – with only 84 permanent residents, we take the time to treat each person like the individual they are – everyone is known by their name!
Our highly skilled culturally and linguistically diverse team of staff come from different backgrounds and cater for our residents who come from more than 10 different cultures. Our nurturing qualities give you a sense of belonging as part of our family and the community.
Ageing affects people in different ways and we understand everyone’s situation will be a little bit different. We’ll get to know you and your family, listen to your experiences, and make sure you receive all the care and support you need.
Our memory support units are purpose-built to provide the best possible setting to deliver a high level of specialised and professional care to support people living with dementia.
You’ll be in good hands with our expert team of carers, who work to support residents living as independently and safely as possible.

“Even super woman can do with some help at home”
I describe myself as very Dutch and I live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide in a house where my husband Wil and I brought up seven children. I am proud of my achievements as a mother of 7 amazing adults.
I have spent much of my life volunteering for various churches and schools assisting where I could make a difference. Other than my children, I consider my journey to creating a Dutch specific residential facility, now proudly known as Rembrandt Court as my biggest achievement.
I continue to work in the community through advocacy programs, committees and focus groups coordinated by the Salisbury Council and continue to be passionate about aged care. I intend remaining in my home for as long as possible with the assistance of Rembrandt Living’s Home Care support. There is no doubt that if the time comes where I need that extra support my first choice will be a gorgeous room at Rembrandt Court filled with some of my Dutch trinkets.
